In 2004, Mr. J'ai began recording the ground-breaking "Infinite Thoughts" project through an exclusive production deal with New Orleans indie label Outshun Entertainment. The completed album was ready for a summer 2005 release, but once Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans the label changed its plans. After years of grinding the southern hip-hop underground venues, Mr. J'ai persuaded Outshun to release an abbreviated version of the project in 2007. Sadly, the release was hampered by several mishaps and many of Mr. J'ai's core fans never got to hear the project in its entirety. 2015 marks the 10 year anniversary of this lost, innovative southern hip-hop music. Mr. J'ai says, "Infinite Thoughts was a fresh breath of new wave hip-hop music then, and it can certainly be appreciated by hip-hop connoisseurs now!"
