Mr. J’ai- Making memorable, quality music is just like making beignets. Besides OT and maybe J-Dubble, L’Daialogue is a hook master. This hook is so catchy. It is trapped somewhere between Memphis and New Orleans, but the beat is so West Coast (E-40ish). It was a great fit like a tailored suit. This is probably one of my favorite tracks because it jams so hard. I referenced Beanie Sigel’s verse off of What We Do and L’Dai personified an actual beignet. The whole concept is clever.

L’Daialogue- All I thought about Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. We used to kick it down there heavy back in the days. Jackson Square off of Bourbon Street. Me, Mellowhype and my homey Glen. So, the chorus was just a play on words in my mind. “They wonder where I done been but everybody like yay”. Like, we STILL moving mane.
