Mr. J’ai- This was one of the loose tracks from the Tygah Woods’ album batch. I actually recorded my verse at Rob Marks’ studio during the last Therapy LP sessions (2012ish). I remember spitting four or five random verses to these tracks that everyone else had already recorded on. Well this was the only verse over 12 bars because it was an open beat after L’Dai’s verse. It always reminded me of an Organized Noize track. I asked if we should touch it up for the project...the results are in. Straight rapping. I wish Blaze would have jumped on. Maybe next time.
L’Daialogue- I had this record in the cut from a collaboration and Blaze the Verbal Chemist were working on a few years ago. It was such a great record thatI had to pull it out for this project.
