Mr. J’ai- I get a pack of premixes with a TGIF remix. I listened and instantly thought about a mid 90s video on the lakefront car show with Aaliyah. Everyone’s hands go up and down chillin’ with shades on. L’Dai was telling me a story about his old coworker who lived in Memphis. Everyday at the job, this dude would play a Fat Pat song. This was the inspiration for the new beat. H-Town always has a way of making laid back tracks for riding. This is the one. I think my vocals sound way better on this version too. We decided to release both versions during our singles release (A/B side).
L’Daialogue- Facts. Yeah, I wanted to get MiZUnder to smooth out this version from the original one that we had moving. I had been bumpin’ Fat Pat’s “Reality” a few months back. I told MiZ I wanted a track that had a similar vibe. A smoothed out beat and he came with it.
